Glenelg Station is a country-luxe escape and working sheep and cattle station, originally founded in 1847 as a fine merino wool station. Nestled along the Macintyre Brook in southern Queensland, its name is derived from Glenelg, Scotland.

A working sheep and cattle station, today Glenelg invites guests to stay in romantic cabins, pitch tents under star-filled skies, or gather in a restored family cottage. From slow paddock-to-plate feasts to intimate bush weddings, every detail is wrapped in deep history and a love for the land.

Choose one of the four cabins that are the perfect getaway, Squatters Cabin, Overseer Cabin, and the Drover Cabin are perfect for a romantic getaway.

Roger’s Cabin is a restored cottage for families and small groups of friends.

Two private camp sites offering peace and nature, with a full off grid experience and no outside world, no reception, guests love these two beautiful camp spots.
