Cullendore High Country is the ideal bush camping destination for those seeking a camping getaway with great views, the beautiful countryside and room to explore.
Located high in the Queensland mountains of the Great Dividing Range not far from the New South Wales border, our secluded mountain retreat is a genuine bush camping getaway for those nature-lovers interested in bushwalking, birdwatching, photography, pushbiking and interactions with our prolific wildlife.

Our 4 campsites are scattered throughout the forest and each site offers its own unique character, whether it is the mountain views, the creeks or the cool and quiet of our beautiful brushbox forests.

There are smaller sites suitable for a couple, a family or a few friends through to larger sites for groups. These sites allow you to set up in private areas, while still having access to amenities.

Each campsite has its own firepit and all sites have been levelled for a comfortable stay. Hot showers and flushing toilets are provided at each campsite.

We cater for all forms of camping including swags, tents, camper trailers, RV’s and caravans.

Over the past decade we have been setting aside the forests on our property as a wildlife reserve.
This has been done by fencing our cattle out of significant areas of our property. We have fenced off the major creeks and the Maryland River as well as many hectares of sclerophyll forest.

Cullendore High Country has been cattle country since European settlement.
The cattle graze in valleys throughout the property and you will see our cattle from some of our campgrounds.

We encourage any visitor who is interested, to talk to us about any aspect of our cattle breeding. We believe that food security is one of the central issues facing our country and the planet as a whole.

Wendy and Stuart’s aim is to ensure guests enjoy the campground and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Located only two and a half hours from Brisbane and half an hour from Warwick, Killarney and Stanthorpe, we are an easily accessible yet secluded campground.
